Cooler Master MasterLiquid Atmos II 360 Review
Review Overview
Second-Generation Atmos
The Atmos II updates Cooler Master's premium liquid-cooling platform with a lower-profile pump, revised cable management, modular top-cover options and current-generation socket support.
Integrated 360mm Fan Assembly
Instead of three individually wired fans, the 360mm version uses a unified SickleFlow Edge ARGB fan assembly. This reduces visible wiring and simplifies installation while retaining PWM and ARGB control.
Flex-Kit Customization
The pump platform supports Cooler Master's Flex-Kit modular upgrades, allowing compatible alternate pump-top modules such as LCD, Pixel LED and VRM-cooling options to be added separately.

Ultra-Low-Profile Pump Design
39mm Pump Height
The standard Atmos II pump housing measures approximately 39mm tall, giving the cooler a notably low-profile CPU-block assembly compared with many display-equipped AIO designs.
3400 RPM Pump
Cooler Master specifies pump operation at 3400 RPM ±300 RPM. The pump connects through a conventional 4-pin PWM connection, allowing motherboard-based speed control.
Long Rated Service Life
Cooler Master rates the pump for more than 210,000 hours MTTF. As with all manufacturer longevity specifications, this is a rated engineering figure rather than a guarantee of individual unit life.
SickleFlow Edge ARGB Cooling
690–2500 RPM
The integrated fan assembly operates across a broad 690–2500 RPM range, giving the Atmos II substantial headroom for demanding CPU workloads while retaining PWM control for lighter loads.
3.61 mm H₂O Pressure
Cooler Master rates the fan system for up to 3.61 mm H₂O static pressure, an important characteristic when forcing air through a radiator's restrictive fin structure.
190 CFM Assembly Rating
The complete 360mm fan assembly is rated for up to 190 CFM airflow. Cooler Master reports this as a combined assembly specification rather than an individual-fan airflow figure.
Streamlined Cabling
Wiring Routed Through Tubes
Cooler Master routes pump-related wiring along the liquid tubes to reduce the amount of exposed cabling around the CPU socket and pump housing.
Unified Fan Connection
The integrated fan assembly consolidates fan connectivity rather than requiring separate power and lighting cables from each individual radiator fan, helping simplify cable management.
ARGB & Visual Customization
Addressable Gen 2 RGB
Both the pump area and radiator fan assembly support Cooler Master's Addressable Gen 2 RGB system for individually controllable lighting effects in compatible configurations.
Dual Style Covers
The standard Atmos II includes interchangeable decorative covers held in place magnetically, allowing the pump's appearance to be changed without replacing the cooling hardware.
Modular Flex-Kit Platform
The Atmos II platform supports optional Flex-Kit modules, including LCD, Pixel LED and VRM-fan solutions. These are optional upgrades and should not be confused with features included on the standard model.
Offset Mounting for LGA1851
Hotspot-Aware Positioning
Cooler Master includes an offset mounting solution for compatible LGA1851 motherboards. The concept moves the cold-plate position to better align cooling with the processor's thermal hotspot.
Motherboard Compatibility Matters
Cooler Master specifically advises checking motherboard compatibility before using the LGA1851 offset bracket. Builders should follow the current installation documentation rather than assuming universal offset-bracket compatibility.
Installation & Compatibility
Broad Intel Support
Official compatibility covers LGA1851 and LGA1700 as well as several earlier mainstream Intel sockets including LGA1200 and the LGA115x family.
AMD AM5 & AM4
Current AMD support includes AM5 and AM4, covering a broad range of Ryzen-based systems.
400mm Tubing
The 360mm version uses 400mm tubing, providing useful routing length for compatible top- and front-mounted radiator configurations.
Case Fit Considerations
394mm Radiator Length
A case advertised as supporting a 360mm radiator still needs enough physical clearance for the Atmos II's 394mm overall radiator length. Nearby drive cages, front-panel hardware or motherboard heatsinks can affect installation.
Approximately 53.5mm Radiator + Fan Depth
Combining the 27mm radiator with the 26.5mm integrated fan assembly produces roughly 53.5mm of nominal thickness before allowing additional clearance for mounting hardware and surrounding components.
Reliability & Warranty
>210,000-Hour Pump MTTF
Cooler Master's published pump MTTF exceeds 210,000 hours under its specified rating conditions.
>160,000-Hour Fan MTTF
The Loop Dynamic Bearing fan system carries a manufacturer MTTF rating exceeding 160,000 hours.
Six-Year Warranty
Cooler Master backs the current Atmos II series with a six-year manufacturer warranty, providing meaningful long-term coverage for an AIO liquid cooler.
Research & Performance Context
Current-Generation Model
The MasterLiquid Atmos II is a newer product than the extensively reviewed MasterLiquid 360 Atmos. Published benchmark results for the original Atmos should not automatically be attributed to the Atmos II because the newer cooler uses revised pump, fan and structural designs.
Independent Testing Still Developing
At the time of this review research, detailed independent technical testing for this exact standard Atmos II 360 configuration is less established than for the previous-generation 360 Atmos. For that reason, this review does not manufacture or transfer benchmark numbers from the older cooler.

Works Best With
Modern Performance CPUs
The 360mm format, high-speed fan assembly and current AM5/LGA1851 support make the Atmos II particularly relevant to performance-focused modern desktop systems.
360mm-Compatible Cases
Best suited to cases with confirmed clearance for the 394mm radiator, integrated fan assembly and approximately 53.5mm nominal combined radiator-and-fan depth.
ARGB Showcase Builds
Addressable Gen 2 lighting, interchangeable pump covers and optional Flex-Kit modules make the Atmos II especially suitable for builders who want cooling hardware to contribute to the visual design of a PC.
Rockin Box Tech Summary
The Cooler Master MasterLiquid Atmos II 360 is a substantial redesign of the Atmos concept rather than simply a renamed version of the earlier MasterLiquid 360 Atmos.
The current model combines a 394 × 119.2 × 27mm aluminum radiator with an integrated SickleFlow Edge ARGB fan assembly operating from 690–2500 RPM. Cooler Master rates the complete 360mm fan system for up to 190 CFM airflow and 3.61 mm H₂O static pressure, while the low-profile pump operates at 3400 ±300 RPM.
The design places unusual emphasis on installation cleanliness and customization. Cabling is routed to reduce clutter, the radiator uses a consolidated fan assembly, magnetic pump covers can change the standard appearance, and the Flex-Kit system provides a path to optional LCD, Pixel LED or VRM-cooling modules.
The main research limitation is independent performance data. The original MasterLiquid 360 Atmos earned very strong independent thermal and acoustic results, but those numbers should not be silently applied to this redesigned Atmos II. Until the exact Atmos II 360 develops a broader independent test record, its verified hardware specifications, compatibility, installation design and six-year warranty provide the strongest factual basis for evaluating it.
